Кривая, показывающая зависимость спроса на товар от его цены (при неизменности других факторов); стандарт ее обозначения на графиках, например, на рис. А.4 к статье «Анализ спроса и предложения» — буква D (от demand). К.с. обычно отражает известное общее правило: чем выше цена, тем ниже спрос, и наоборот (хотя есть и исключения — см. Гиффина товары, Низшие, низкокачественные блага). Крутизна кривой показывает степень такой зависимости: она называется эластичностью спроса относительно цены. Чем круче кривая, тем выше эластичность. Различаются кривые индивидуального спроса отдельных потребителей, кривые рыночного спроса на отдельные товары и кривые агрегатного, совокупного спроса в экономике страны. Подробнее см.
